Hi CoolMonster. Hp Loadrunner 11 Torrent Download Canon Eos Xsi Battery Charger. here. You need software along with that Driver -- the driver controls the hardware (fingerprinter) and you need the Security software package to control your interaction with the hardware and to provide a security database for your fingerprint logins. There is just the one HP Protect Tools manual; use it for Windows 7 or Windows 8. • Chapter 1, page 2 explains the different modules in the HP Protect Tools package.
• Read the manual descriptions and decide which modules you want in addition to the HP Protect Tools Manager program. Select one of the following and Look in Category Security for HP Protect Tools Security Manager: ORselect the following and enter YOUR Operating System: =====================================================================================. Probook ProtectTools not working Cool, The system must detect the fingerprinter in the Device Manager before you can use it.
According to the Quick Specs for this system, at least for units sold in North America, the computer would have come with the Validity Sensor and the HP Protect Tools installed – at least for Windows 7. Whether this is true for YOUR system is a question -- You never said which Operating System you are running and / or whether the system has been upgraded to Windows 8. It does make a difference. Cool, I am still now sure what OS you are running NOW - sounds like Windows 8 may be installed NOW. Regardless, it does not matter as long as the system is 'ready' to run the driver and the software. The Validity Sensor driver will run on Windows 7 OR on Windows 8.
The ProtectTools sofware must be selected according to the OS version: Windows 7 or Windows 8 Unfortunately, I do not know more than what I have suggested. You may be missing an underlying bit of the infrastructure, that is, something you did not install when you switched back and forth from / to Windows 'whatever you are running now'. What is 'missing' -- I do not know: it might be nothing more than the chipset driver. Your ProtectTools Manual If you have not yet looked at this, please take a couple of minutes to do so.
Additional Information: Because you cannot get this to run, and you are not getting the help you need, AND I assume you had it running at some point in the past, I suggest you take a look on the Business Forum and see if you can find help there. The Business Forum is a separate forum; you will have to register for it, just like you did for this forum. Why the Business Forum?? Because your computer model is a business model, and you just might find more help for it at the other forum. We try to help on all computers here, but our expertise is not always 'all inclusive'. I do hope you find a solution -- you do need to get the system to recognize the fingerprinter (Biometrics in the Device Manager) before anything else will work.
